Sherdley Manor | Our Team

At Sherdley Manor, we have a dedicated team of management, care and ancillary staff. All our staff are caring, trained, warm, friendly and experienced.

Our staff undergoes regular Disclosure Barring Service checks.

Mr Sandeep Gupta - Responsible Individual

Proprietor of Care Homes in Wales and England experienced in Nursing Care, Dementia Care, Service user Residential Care. Registered Individual with Care Inspectorate Wales.

Moira Jones - Area Manager

Moira has her Level 5 in Health and Social Care, Level 5 in Management and also holds Diplomas in Care and Management. Moira is a qualified counsellor and originally qualified as a Social Worker. Moira has many years’ experiences in care and previously worked as a Regulatory Inspector for NCSC, CSCI and CQC. Moira has also previously been employed in an Area Manager role for corporate care companies.

Amy Philipson - Manager

Amy has many years care experience and worked in Neurological complex care/ rehab setting where she gained her NVQ level 5 in health and social care leadership and management. Amy also in her 14 years gained experience in all departments and has excellent knowledge in all areas in care settings. Amy Joined Sherdley Manor in 2022 as the deputy manager and has progressed into the home manager earlier in 2024.

Linda Campbell - Deputy Manager

Linda has worked for Sherdley Manor for the past 10 years as the home manager and has an extensive knowledge within the care industry. Linda has also gained her NVQ level 5 in health and social care and earlier in 2024 Linda decided to reduce her working hours and become the deputy manager.

Annemarie Edge - Home Administrator

Annemarie has worker at Sherdley Manor for the past 10 years she has vast knowledge within her role.

Ashley Jones - Finance Officer

Ashley has worked for the company for several years. Ashley is not currently based at Sherdley Manor as he covers finances throughout the whole of Chestnut Healthcare group.

We employ a trainee officer in charge as succession planning is an important aspect of our development as a company and the qualitative care and support that we aspire to provide residents with. We also employ senior care staff and a core team of care staff who work both days and nights as Sherdley Manor provides twenty-four-hour care.

Supporting the care and management team are our ancillary team consisting of a home administrator, activity co-ordinator, kitchen and domestic staff and a maintenance person. Chestnut Healthcare Group also employs a Regional Maintenance person.
